Product Description Marketing Data
⌄
SN 100 ESD SLE is a solvent-free, self-levelling epoxy flooring system engineered with integrated electrostatic discharge control technology. Applied at a nominal thickness of 1.0 mm, it forms a seamless, uniform conductive surface that safely dissipates static electricity—ideal where controlled electrostatic performance and protection of sensitive equipment are essential.
Intended Use Where to Use
⌄
Designed for durable, seamless electrostatic discharge flooring in electronic manufacturing, pharmaceutical production, warehouses handling explosive or flammable materials, and other environments where strict ESD control is required.

Substrate Preparation Processing Instructions
⌄
Mechanically prepare the substrate by enclosed grinding, shot-blasting, or scarifying to produce a clean, sound surface free from dust, loose particles, and weak material. Remove all contaminants (oils, fats, greases, paint residues, chemicals, algae, laitance) completely.
- New concrete: cure minimum 28 days at 25°C before application; compressive strength ≥ 25 N/mm²; tensile strength ≥ 1.5 N/mm².
- Remove curing compounds/membranes by sanding or chemical etching using a suitable strong detergent.
- Clean contaminated concrete with an appropriate degreasing agent to remove oil and grease residues.
- Remove all loose/unsound concrete by chipping, scarifying, shot-blasting, sanding, or grinding to a sound base.
- Over existing coatings: short-term only; fully remove peeling/flaking coatings; if sound, clean with strong detergent and abrade to remove gloss.
- Areas worn through to bare concrete shall be treated as bare concrete.
SN LEVEL 200 can be used to correct surface irregularities and level undulated/damaged substrates. It may also be applied as a permanent moisture suppressant system for substrates with high residual moisture or rising moisture.
Typical System Components
⌄
- SN 100 ESD MC
- SN 100 ESD PRIMER
- SN 100 ESD SLE
Processing Method
⌄
System materials are multi-component and supplied pre-packed in complete sets. Mix each set thoroughly to achieve a homogeneous consistency using a slow-speed electric drill fitted with a helical mixing paddle. Mix in a clean vessel and minimise air entrainment.
- SN 100 ESD MC: two-component primer applied by squeegee, then finished with a roller for uniform coverage.
- Install copper tape grids after priming and connect to the designated grounding point per ESD requirements.
- SN 100 ESD PRIMER: two-component, highly carbon-filled primer applied evenly by squeegee and finished by roller to form a continuous conductive base layer.
- SN 100 ESD SLE: three-component self-levelling epoxy topcoat applied over fully cured primer using a squeegee or trowel, then treated with a spike roller for uniform thickness, air release, and seamless finish.
For detailed application parameters, working times, and system-specific procedures, refer to the applicable system specification and method statement.
Reworking Recoating
⌄
If reworking within 24/36 hours after application, sanding is not required. Reworking later is only possible after careful sanding.
