Substrate Compatibility

SN 100 SLE is suitable for application over concrete, wood, tile or metal. Not recommended on asphalt or painted surface.

Substrate Requirements Minimums
  • Minimum compressive strength: 25 N/mm²
  • Substrate must be sound, clean, and free from laitance, dust, and contamination
  • Substrate dryness: maximum 75% relative humidity (BS 8204)
  • Must be free from rising damp and groundwater pressure
System Options Cove Base

Cove Base: To provide an integral seal at the joint between the floor and wall. Coving can be formed with i-FLOOR Coving Mortar in conjunction with i-FLOOR Primer.

Packaging 22 kg set

SN 100 SLE is packaged in a 22 kg set, consisting of:

ComponentQuantity
Part A8.5 kg
Part B2.5 kg
Part C11 kg
Coverage Approximate

Each set of SN 100 SLE will cover approximately 1.00 m².

Note: For thickness 1 mm, material consumption is approximately 1.63–1.7 kg.
Substrate Preparation Essential

Proper surface preparation is essential for optimal adhesion. The substrate must be dry, structurally sound, and free from grease, fats, oils, laitance, and all other contaminants.

Preparation should be carried out by totally enclosed shot blasting or mechanical scarification to produce a clean, open-textured surface with a profile comparable to fine sandpaper.

Priming Sealing

Normal porous surfaces should be fully sealed and primed using two coats of Primer.

Mixing Steps
  • Add Part B into Part A and mix with blender for 60 seconds.
  • Add Part C and mix with blender for 120 seconds.
  • Scrape out residue of previous mix from the sides of the drum and discard before mixing the next pack.
Pot Life Working time

SN 100 SLE has a working time of approximately 20–30 minutes at 30°C. Working time varies with temperature.

Application Method
  • Material must be used immediately after mixing.
  • Use a screed rake to distribute the mixed material onto the floor.
  • Use a V-notched hand trowel and pull through the material at right angles to the floor.
  • Use a spiked roller to release air and help aggregate settle, allowing liquids to come to surface.
Hardening Time 30°C
ConditionAt 30°C
Light traffic12 hours
Full traffic24 hours
Fully chemical cure5 days
Shelf Life Storage
  • Store unopened in dry conditions at 25–35°C.
  • Avoid excessive heat and do not freeze.
  • Shelf life is 12 months in original, unopened container.
Cleaning Up Solvents

Clean mixing and application equipment immediately after use. Use toluene or xylene. Observe all fire and health precautions when handling or storing solvent.

Important Work breaks
Interruption control: If there is any extended interruption in mixing (e.g., lunch break), thoroughly clean all mixing paddles and containers before suspending work to avoid contamination by partially cured material. Contamination can impair trowelability, surface finish, and overall floor performance.
Caution Health & Safety
Avoid contact: Avoid contact with Part A and B as they may cause skin and/or eye irritation. In case of contact, immediately flush area with copious amounts of clean water for at least 15 minutes and seek medical attention. Wear impervious gloves. Wash hands thoroughly with soap and water after use and before eating, smoking, etc.
